TechTarget and NPower Unite to Support the Information Technology Needs of Nonprofits

Together Launch Brand Ad Campaign to Promote Corporate Volunteerism

Technology media company TechTarget, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTGT) today announced it is launching a joint initiative with NPower, a national nonprofit organization that provides information technology (IT) services and training to nonprofits and young adults, to promote skilled IT volunteerism through The Community Corps.

A unit of NPower, The Community Corps (TCC) provides a fully automated online program that connects skilled IT professionals to nonprofits in need of specific IT support. TCC supports an expanding range of nonprofit organizations that includes foundations, community groups, social service organizations and most recently schools and libraries. This innovative program was launched last November through the extended support of core sponsors Accenture and JPMorgan Chase. The TCC platform enables nonprofits to choose from a list of short-term, structured, high-impact projects that are supported by qualified, prescreened volunteers from NPower’s corporate partners and supporters. The program provides continuous online support, project management tools, a mobile app and social networking opportunities.

The joint initiative will enhance TCC’s brand awareness among IT professionals and potential technology vendor partners through an online branding and social media campaign. The multi- media campaign is also designed to spur CIO’s, CEO’s and IT professionals to encourage corporate IT volunteerism among their respective companies. The campaign will include appropriate group conversations across LinkedIn, blog conversations onITKnowledgeExchange.com, and a new TechTarget ad format that integrates all of TCC’s marketing collateral and content assets about the program.
