TechTarget Partners with Google for Research Project on the Relationship of the IT Buying Process to Search Habits in the United Kingdom

Technology media company TechTarget, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTGT) announced today it will be extending its Google research partnership with a new report examining the buying process and research of IT buyers across the United Kingdom.

The all new Google/TechTarget Research Project: UK Edition will be released on May 19th in a special invitation-only event at Google UK headquarters in London. The report, which will be made available publicly shortly after this event, is designed for advertising agencies and IT marketers who purchase online search keywords or media, manage online strategies, or need to better understand the dynamics between online search and the research and purchase process used by UK-based IT buyers.

This UK-specific data reflects an extension of the research – and complete re-fielding of the survey – conducted between Google and TechTarget U.S. operations in 2008. The joint research project examines the online search behaviours of enterprise IT buyers when researching and purchasing technology solutions.
