Eric Sockol, Chief Financial Officer

Eric Sockol has been the Chief Financial Officer of TechTarget since its inception and is responsible for overseeing finance, human resources, investor relations, facilities, and administration functions at TechTarget. He has 24 years of experience in senior finance roles in large global organizations and rapid-growth technology ventures.

Eric has served as the Chief Financial Officer of three technology companies. He is experienced with capital markets and has successfully raised funds through debt offerings, private placements and multiple public offerings. During his tenure at TechTarget, Eric has managed the acquisition of numerous online properties, including Bitpipe.com, 2020software.com, TechnologyGuide.com and KnowledgeStorm.com.

Prior to joining TechTarget, Eric was Chief Financial Officer of ObTech, Inc. as well as OneWave, Inc. Prior to OneWave, he served as Finance Director and Corporate Controller of Corporate Software, Inc. During his tenure at Corporate Software, revenues increased from under $100 million to over $1 billion and headcount grew from 500 to 5,000.

Eric is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
