Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter

Exciting opportunity to join the HR Team of one of the Boston Business Journal’s “50 Best Places to Work” in Massachusetts! TechTarget is seeking a Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter who will work closely with the VP, Human Resources as a business partner to support departmental and company goals. The HR Generalist/ Recruiter will have an emphasis on recruiting and will also be involved in new hire orientation & assimilation, employee relations & coaching, training, and performance management counseling.  The ideal candidate will help implement HR policies, procedures, and processes that fit our company culture that encourages flexibility, responsibility, and autonomy and will also assist in the development of new and revised HR programs. The HR Generalist/Recruiter will drive solutions to improve our ability to recruit, retain and motivate our employees.

Essential Job Functions:

• Recruiting including facilitating recruitment process and working closely with various hiring mangers in setting recruitment strategy, candidate sourcing, initial screening, interviewing, reference checking, and selection;
• Advising managers and employees in performance management situations;
• Assistance with and response to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, payroll and benefits issues;
• Spearheading human resources initiatives;
• Supporting and managing training initiatives; and,
• Counseling and coaching employees and mangers with employee relation issues.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

• 3 - 5 years of generalist experience with emphasis on recruiting, preferably in a high tech environment;
• Demonstrated analytical skills;
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization with a strong customer service focus;
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment;
• Bachelor's degree; and,
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
