TechTarget Recognized as one of Area’s “Best Places to Work” by Boston Business Journal for the 4th time

Needham, MA – June 11, 2009 –Technology media company TechTarget, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTGT) today announced it has once again been recognized by The Boston Business Journal as one of the “Best Places to Work.” The publication’s annual ranking of the 60 companies that are considered the best places to work is based on survey responses from employees at over 375 nominated companies. Recognized as one of the Top 20 large companies, TechTarget and staff were honored at an awards breakfast this morning. This recognition marks the fourth time TechTarget has been named by the Boston Business Journal as one of the “Best Places to Work”.

The “Best Places to Work” ranking is based on surveys completed by a substantial number of employees at each nominated company. The surveys ask questions related to work environment, work-life balance, job satisfaction, advancement opportunities, compensation and benefits. This year’s top ranking firms included Google, Microsoft, Comcast, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Accenture, and Children’s Hospital Boston, which were chosen from over 375 nominations – a record number of submissions in the history of the “Best Places to Work.”

“TechTarget’s growth and success is fueled by our enthusiastic, hard-working team of people who are encouraged to strive for rewarding careers and given both support and flexibility to achieve them,” said Greg Strakosch, CEO of TechTarget. “We are pleased to receive this recognition again, as our employees’ survey results reveal the mutual respect at work in an environment that fosters a better balance between work and personal life.”

“This is one of our most popular events because it focuses on both employer and employees,” said Michael Olivieri, Publisher of The Boston Business Journal. “We have found that achieving the title of ‘Best Place to Work’ is something companies are very proud to achieve because it shows they care about their most important asset – their employees.”
