TechTarget’s Storage Decisions Wraps in Las Vegas
Las Vegas Event Added to Meet Storage Vendor Demand for TechTarget’s Buyer-only Storage Event
NEEDHAM, Mass.— November 11, 2005 — Information-technology (IT) media company TechTarget today wrapped Storage Decisions Las Vegas, the third Storage Decisions conference of 2005. TechTarget extended the Storage Decisions brand to meet sponsor demand for TechTarget’s storage events and to enable storage vendors to divert their dollars from events providing lower return on investment. Previous attendance audits attendance have shown have shown that Storage Decisions events deliver an audience composed entirely of IT professionals involved in the purchase and selection of storage products and services.
Storage Decisions is the only storage conference that restricts admission solely to storage-focused IT professionals pre-qualified by purchase responsibility, job title, company size, and storage-specific budget. Limited to 30 sponsors, the Las Vegas event includes the top vendors of storage products and services, among them, Cisco, Sun Microsystems and EMC.
"Our sponsors tell us that the Storage Decisions conferences consistently deliver the highest ROI of any trade show,” said Kevin Beam, executive vice president of TechTarget’s Storage Media Group. “Sponsors said that having the conference twice a year just wasn’t enough for them. Storage buyers make purchase decisions year-round, so vendors need to be in front of them throughout the year. Adding a third Storage Decisions in Las Vegas allowed our sponsors an opportunity to shift their investments from lower-return events and meet with a new group of highly qualified storage buyers.”
