Data Analyst
TechTarget is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Data Analytics team. The person coming into this role will work on both reporting and analytics initiatives. They will build out and maintain reports for the business related to email marketing and branding, web traffic, purchase intent and account based marketing and work to ensure the overall integrity of the data going into the reports. They will also proactively work to identify opportunities to automate and streamline regular requests and report production and collaborate with other Analysts on the team to provide strategic analysis for business stakeholders and assist with data work related to implementation of advanced analytics to optimize business processes.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create dashboards, scorecards, and reports in Tableau and GoodData;
- Provide standard and custom data analysis to core business stakeholders;
- Work with other members of the team on report automation and the overall data plan to support future reporting needs;
- Provide new user training and documentation of standard reporting and day-to-day support for the reports the team is responsible for; and,
- Develop in-depth knowledge of TechTarget’s products/services
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or related;
- 1-2 years’ work experience in analytics and reporting;
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate findings in non-technical terms;
- Understanding and experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL a plus.
- Strong interest in developing skills in the field of business intelligence, machine learning and advanced analytics;
- Innovative, curious, with strong problem solving skills;
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts; and,
- Python and data science experience preferred.
