Member Engagement Representative
TechTarget is seeking a full-time Member Engagement Representative to connect with active members of the TechTarget web community to collect insights on today’s top technology trends, promote premiere TechTarget content, and offer exclusive member benefits to contributing IT Pros. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to feet wet in the technology sales & marketing fields.
We are looking for fearless individuals to conduct outbound calls to our active user database and perform member interviews to uncover details on annual technology initiatives and purchasing trends in support of our Qualified Sales Opportunities product. Essential Job Functions:
- Provide customer service to participating members by offering them valuable market driven content to assist them with technical projects and ensure they are making the right decisions for future technology purchases;
- Use Salesforce to manage your list of prospects to call and utilize our Activity Intelligence reporting to ensure you are talking about the topics that interest our members the most. We have the tools you need to get the job done;
- Sell the value proposition of TechTarget media to help ensure members remain active participants for all future studies we conduct;
- Work closely team leaders and management to provide thorough campaign progress updates; and,
- Conduct outbound calls to drive in high quality respondents for our qualified opportunity campaigns & technology research initiatives
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Excellent communication and sales skills;
- A positive, energetic attitude;
- Self-motivation;
- Customer sensitivity;
- Internet savvy; and,
- Previous phone sales experience and exposure to the IT market are preferred.
