Senior Account Manager, EMEA

The Senior Account Manager, EMEA will work directly with customers and prospects on demand generation and pipeline creation strategies. The Senior Account Manager is specifically responsible for prospecting and bringing on new clients onto TechTarget’s cloud-based, intent data SaaS platform, Priority Engine. The majority of new business is created over video / phone meetings and web demonstrations. However, a willingness to travel occasionally for onsite meetings is preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for developing relationships and driving net new customer acquisition from assigned territory;
  • Manage entire sales cycle from prospecting, to qualifying to close;
  • Increase depth of contact and build account relationships through active prospecting, face-to-face meetings, phone and email communication and by employing a consultative sales approach;
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of TechTarget’s intent-data application, Priority Engine and other TechTarget demand generation services;
  • Keep abreast of industry developments; stay involved in industry activities through participation in trades shows, industry associations, and industry functions; and,
  • Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet quarterly and annual quota objectives

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Minimum 3+ years success generating new business revenue in enterprise level accounts;
  • Proven track record of achievement carrying a $1M + quota;
  • Strong working knowledge of sales and marketing intelligence and data management spaces;
  • Prior experience selling into the CMO, CRO or CSO; and,
  • Qualified candidates must have a burning desire to be on a winning sales team and display extraordinary enthusiasm.
