About the authors:

Huseni Saboowala is a senior technical leader in software-defined networking (SDN), cloud computing and unified communications at Cisco. He leads the architecture and deployment of a custom private cloud within Cisco and has filed several patents related to his work. He holds a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the University of Bombay and a master's degree in software engineering from Kansas State University.

Muhammad Abid is a senior product manager in Cisco’s services and routing group, where he works on developing technologies that support data center interconnect and SDN frameworks, as well as enabling cloud-based services and applications. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from City University of New York and an executive master's degree in technology management from the Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.  

Sudhir Modali is a product manager at Cisco, where he focuses on the company’s data center and cloud architecture portfolios. He has 15 years of experience in networking, and  has worked in customer support, testing, technical marketing and product management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial electronics from Shivaji University in Solapur, India.
