    Macro and Micro flows -- What is the difference?

    Draw a diagram that shows how objects are connected together to create a transaction (a micro-flow diagram). Then, draw a diagram showing how a business process is made up by connecting various systems (a macro-flow diagram). The two look similar. In fact they do look very much like the flow charts Peter Abrahams of IT-Director.com drew 30 years ago. This article continues the "Explaining integration" series.
