Felix Zhao is the Founder and CEO of Cassia Networks, Inc. and the inventor of the Cassia Hub, the world's first Bluetooth router. Cassia Networks builds next-generation IoT solutions that are transforming how businesses and consumers experience IoT environments.

Before founding Cassia Networks, Felix was the VP & GM of APAC for Sensys Networks where he grew the revenue of Sensys APAC region 300% in two years. Prior to Sensys, Felix served as the vice president, mesh technology at Aruba Networks (NASDAQ: ARUN), which acquired Felix's company Azalea Networks in 2010. Felix founded Azalea Networks in 2005 and served as CEO, CTO and sat on the board directors. At Azalea, Felix was the lead developer of wireless mesh technology and inventor of the Azalea Wi-Fi Mesh Router. He grew the company from three to 120 employees and won the Wireless Beijing project for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Felix also initiated the first large-scale China Mobile 3G + Wi-Fi project in 2009. Before Azalea, Felix worked for Cisco Systems and Cable & Wireless IDC where he was a key contributor for developing the wireless products and solutions at those companies. Felix is also the founding partner of zPark Venture.

Felix holds two bachelor of science degrees in physics and electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, one of China's top universities. Felix has over 20 U.S. patents granted or pending on IP routing, QoS, voice control, video optimization, mobile internet, wireless communication and Bluetooth.
