Laura DiDio, principal analyst at Information Technology Intelligence Consulting (ITIC) has over two decades of experience in high technology as both an analyst and investigative reporter in broadcasting and print.

Prior to ITIC, she was research director of IoT voice of the enterprise at 451 Research, and before that she was at Strategy Analytics, where she served as director of IoT systems research and consulting. She also spent over six years as a research fellow at the Yankee Group and four years as a director/research fellow at Giga Information Group.

In addition to her IoT coverage, Ms. DiDio is well-versed in a wide range of technologies including security, hardware and software, cloud computing, virtualization, BYOD, remote access and mobility. She also monitors the business issues that impact corporations: reliability, cost of downtime, licensing and contract negotiations, risk mitigation, intellectual property, copyright, patent infringement, TCO and ROI.

She is a frequent speaker at industry trade shows and user conferences, and is widely quoted in the general, business and trade press.

Ms. DiDio also worked as an on-camera investigative reporter in broadcast and print media. She worked as an investigative reporter at CNN, Channel 11 in Minneapolis and Channel 5's 10 O'clock News. Her investigative reports have also appeared in publications like The Minneapolis Tribune and The Village Voice.
