Bruce Beam is the director of infrastructure and security at (ISC)²:
He has more than 20 years of experience leading IT/ICT and security teams for large enterprises and the US Navy, and leads all aspects of (ISC)²’s global IT/ICT and cyber security operations.
Beam’s experience extends to executive levels, defining strategy, innovation, integration, and automation. His experience in the US Navy enabled him to engage in multiple disciplines for worldwide operations with both military and civilian counterparts.
Beam led numerous worldwide initiatives while in the US Navy and with Citibank before leading all information security at CoreSite. While at CoreSite, he was responsible for all aspects of information security and IT infrastructure enabling unprecedented uptime and security posture with a defence-in-depth approach.
Beam is a CISSP and CISM and holds a Master of Information Technology and Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Valdosta State University.
