Dan and his wife, Dolores Kong, live in Milton, Mass., and are co-authors of the Falcon guides Hiking Acadia National Park and Best Easy Day Hikes Acadia National Park. They are members of the 111ers of Northeastern USA, having hiked all major peaks of the Northeast.
Dan was born in Northampton, grew up in Sandwich on Cape Cod, and graduated with an English degree from Boston College.
