Fred Werner heads up the strategic engagement division at the standardisation bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations’ specialised agency for information and communications technologies (ICTs).
He was instrumental in the creation of the landmark AI for Good Global Summit. Previously, he was communications and programme director for ETIS – the global IT association for telecommunications.
