He holds certifications as an ITIL Expert, Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP), an Organizational Change Management Practitioner (OCMP), and a Lean IT Professional (LITP). He has spent the past three decades helping individuals in 30 countries on five continents realize their full potential by simplifying complex topics and inspiring people to acquire new skills.
He is the co-author of the ITIL v3 Continual Service Improvement core volume, a regular contributor of editorial articles and whitepapers, and a sought-after keynote speaker and presenter at ITSM conferences and events around the world. George is also a regular co-host and producer of the popular podcast series "Practitioner Radio" for Pink Elephant.
He has held the IT industry's top security and audit designations, (ISC)2's Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and ISACA's CISA (audit) and CISM (security) certificates.
In 2012, he was deeply honored to receive the Ron Muns Lifetime Achievement Award from HDI for his contributions to the technical service and support industry. Early in his career he was appointed to the faculty of Yale University and, subsequently, spent several years as a consultant to the White House and White House conferences.
