Luke Sperrin

Luke Sperrin is senior practice lead for energy at Digital Catapult, where he drives innovation across the UK energy sector using advanced technologies including AI, quantum, immersive technologies, internet of things (IoT), future networks and digital twins.

He leads programmes that apply deep tech to challenges across gas and electricity networks, supporting industry partners in accelerating flexibility, resilience and net‑zero outcomes. With over 10 years’ experience in cleantech and energy innovation, Luke previously conducted research at the University of Cambridge before co‑founding H2GO Power, where he led research and development, and innovation strategy for hydrogen technologies. He is passionate about turning scientific research into impactful products and systems that benefit society.
