Michael Jennings is a recognized industry expert in enterprise information management (EIM). He has more than 25 years of information management experience in the health care, retail, telecommunications, insurance, banking, manufacturing and logistics, and human resources industries including government. In addition to serving as an EIM expert for SearchDataManagement.com and SearchContentManagment.com, Mike has written numerous columns and articles for EIM Institute, DM Review and Intelligent Enterprise magazines and other publications. He has been a judge for the 2002 - 2007 DM Review World-Class Solutions Awards, the 2003 Wilshire Award for Best Practices in Meta Data Management, and the 2009 & 2010 B-eye-Network Vision Award. Mike speaks frequently on EIM issues and practices at major industry conferences, and has been an instructor of information management at the University of Chicago's Graham School. He is a co-author of the book Universal Meta Data Models (2004) and a contributing author to the books Building and Managing the Meta Data Repository (2000) and The DAMA Guide to the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DAMA-DMBOK, 2009).
