Nick Schmiedicker

Nick Schmiedicker is the senior executive editor for Informa TechTarget's Data Technologies group. He directs the editorial strategy covering topics such as data management, data governance, business intelligence, data analytics, data backup, and disaster recovery planning.
Nick joined TechTarget in 2021 and previously ran the editorial teams covering end-user computing and application and software development. Prior to joining TechTarget, he developed and executed content marketing strategies for organizations such as Pure Storage, Verizon Enterprise, and KeyBank.
He has a master's degree in journalism from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications and a bachelor's degree in media studies from the University at Buffalo.
