Richard Boardman is a poacher turned gamekeeper. He worked for a couple of major CRM vendors in
the UK, but concerned at the CRM industry's focus on selling software rather than delivering
genuine business solutions, he set up the independent consultancy, Mareeba. Mareeba is a
non-software selling, vendor neutral consulting firm, focused exclusively on helping organizations
transform performance through the more effective use of CRM software.
Based just outside London in the UK, Richard is an MBA and has worked in the industry for 13
years, and been involved in over 300 CRM implementations. He's an active columnist and author of
the controversial 'CRM Consultant' blog. When he's not getting his hands dirty on CRM
implementations, he's a very active ultra-runner and triathlete.
