Tomer Shiran
Co-founder and CPO, Dremio
Tomer Shiran is the co-founder and CPO of Dremio. He served as the company’s CEO from 2015 to 2020. Previously he was the Vice President of Product at MapR, where he was responsible for product strategy, roadmap and new feature development. As a member of the executive team, he helped grow the company from five employees to over 300 employees and 1000 enterprise customers. Prior to MapR, Shiran held numerous product management and engineering positions at Microsoft and IBM Research.
In his spare time, he created ePassportPhoto.com, the world’s top provider of passport photos. Shiran holds an M.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in computer science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
