Cisco Jasper
Cisco Jasper is a branch of the networking company that provides a cloud-based software platform for businesses looking to provide cloud services. Jasper allows Cisco customers to provide cloud services without investing large amounts of money to independently develop their own AI. The platform provides access to skilled in-demand staff, infrastructure, and the power and cooling required to keep it all running. The platform is made from a single unified codebase. The control center can be configured for a wide range of needs across enterprises.
Jasper Control Center Platform is a key part of over 35 telecom providers’ services. Clients include AT&T China Unicom, Telefonica, Softbank, NTT DoCoMo, America Movil, SingTel, Telenor and Telestra. As a pre-existing company, Jasper has an existing customer base and range of products in automotive, home security, food and beverage serving, wearables, healthcare devices, advertising and industrial sectors.
Cisco purchased Jasper in March 2016 for $1.4 billion. The company also has strategic partnerships with Microsoft Azure, SalesForce, SAP SE and Reliance Communications.
