In SAP BI, what is the difference between ODS and DSO?
In BI 7.0,
ODS was renamed as DSO (DataStore objects). With this new object, three types are available. "Standard", which is similar to the ODS, has three tables for activation queue, table for active data and change log table, direct update which consists of active data table only, and write optimized which also has only active data table. Sid doesn't get generated in the second and third type of DSOs.
