An engineer by education, I have had a30+ year career of running niche technology businesses. These have been across the spectrum of stakeholder types (private, public, PE/VC, etc.), but have all had a number of commonalities:

- International footprint
- David & Goliath relationships with major global players
- Intellectual Property
I invested in and became MD at Caption Data in 2010. In 2013 we brought some PE investment into the business. We continue to focus on IoT for industrial/commercial clients, mostly in and around the built environment.
