Derek Schauland is a multi-year Microsoft MVP who has written about technology since 2002. Schauland has held a number of IT-related roles, including systems administrator, IT manager, cloud infrastructure consultant and managed services consultant. In addition to his blogs and technical articles, Schauland has written two books, Training Guide Configuring Windows 8 and Troubleshooting Windows Server with PowerShell. In recent years, Schauland's focus has been building his expertise with Microsoft technologies, such as the Azure cloud platform and PowerShell.
