Piers Wilson
Director, IISP
As a director of the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP), Piers Wilson is heavily involved in IISP research and communications activities. He is also head of product management for Huntsman Security, responsible for the strategic development of the company’s threat detection and security intelligence solutions.
Piers has been part of the security industry for 20 years, working with organisations at a high level and providing strategic input and thought leadership on current and future security trends such as threat intelligence, security operations, automated threat resolution and the internet of things (IoT).
He was previously in the senior team leading the cyber security practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers and head of technical assurance at Insight Consulting (part of Siemens). He holds an MSc in information security from Royal Holloway University of London.
