Shamus Rae
Head of digital disruption, KPMG
Shamus Rae leads on intelligent automation (transformation/automation through the use of artificial intelligence) for KPMG. He is responsible for transforming the firm’s services and for helping clients embrace this new and disruptive technology. Rae has led several client projects focusing on artificial intelligence strategy and implementation. He is the UK leader for Global Business Services.
Rae has spent the past 20 years delivering major transformation programmes and was one of the founders of the offshoring industry in the late 1980s. Shamus founded WNS, now one of the largest offshore business process outsourcing (BPO) providers. He helped build IBM’s offshore BPO centres, including acquisitions.
