Wayne Federico

Wayne Federico is CIO and vice president of technical services at Miro Consulting, a company that aids users of Oracle and other IT vendors in assessing their software license needs, negotiating purchase contracts and defending against vendor audits. With nearly 20 years of project management and IT consulting experience, Federico works closely with CIOs and IT directors from midsize to Fortune 1000 companies to align their IT needs with their business strategies.

Before joining Miro in 2006, Federico was director of technical services at Spherion, a staffing and professional services provider where he helped to increase revenue by an estimated 20% year over year. During his time with Spherion and a previous employer that the company acquired, he managed more than 20 vendor partnerships, including ones with Microsoft, Cisco and Novell. In addition, he was recognized with internal awards for "responsiveness and ability to deliver" and "outstanding performance in the operational support of the organization's objectives."

Federico, who holds a degree in business management from the University of Phoenix, has also won several awards while working at Miro, including being named the company's employee of the year in 2007.
