Yiannis Pavlosoglou

Yiannis Pavlosoglou is the strategic change manager for operational resilience at global financial services firm UBS, where he is responsible for shaping and implementing the strategy in areas such as the service catalogue and target operating model. He is also co-chair of the (ISC)² EMEA Advisory Council. Prior to UBS, he has held positions in organisations such as Verizon and Ounce Labs. As well as having a PhD in Information Security and a CISSP certification, his career and expertise spans several disciplines, from penetration testing and teaching developers how to write code, to designing routing protocols for ad-hoc networks and assisting large scale financial platforms to ensure that they are secure. He has also held the chair of the Global Industry Committee for the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and led a number of projects within that space.
