Ellie Hurst is the head of marketing communications and media at Advent IM and a presenter of many years’ standing, having joined the security industry in 2011.
She is a regular industry commentator, speaker and editorial contributor on a range of security topics, including cyber security, the language of security, the internet of things (IoT), ransomware, communication skills for security professionals, threat convergence, and cyber threat to physical assets.
Hurst is an enthusiastic supporter and member of the both the Security Institute, as an Associate and the Institute of Information Security Professionals, as an Affiliate.
