Paul Jordan
Managing director Europe, International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)
Paul Jordan is the European managing director for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) based in Brussels. He is responsible for implementing the strategic planning for Europe and leading the efforts in expanding IAPP’s European presence.
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Jordan has been living and working in Brussels for most of his life and has an in-depth knowledge of European public affairs, having managed large international projects for the European Commission, Deloitte Europe, and other leading European consultancies.
Since 2007, Jordan has delivered business management services to a variety of associations, including the Supply Chain Council (SCC), the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and the Project Management Institute (PMI), overseeing their European operations. Specific responsibilities included membership development strategy, PR/communications, events and organisational governance.
Jordan holds a degree in Business Economics with a Human Resources Management specialisation from Boston University and the Vrije Universiteit Brussels.
