Peter H Gregory, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, CIPM, DRCE, CCSK, is a career technologist and cyber security leader.
He began his career in software engineering and later pivoted to systems, network, and security engineering. Currently, he is the senior director of GRC at GCI Communications, where he is responsible for cyber risk, policy, controls, privacy, resilience, and third-party risk management.
He is a frequent event speaker, and the author of close to 50 cyber security books, including Solaris Security, CISSP For Dummies, CISM All-In-One Exam Guide, The Art of Writing Technical Books, and Chromebook for Dummies.
Gregory serves on advisory boards for professional cyber security education at the University of Washington. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, CyberEdBoard, InfraGard, and the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association, and resides in Central Washington.
