IDC's September 2019 Worldwide Quarterly Converged Systems report placed Nutanix second in both the branded hyper-convergence category and for hyper-converged software, for example. Nutanix came up behind Dell Technologies with 14.2% share on earnings of $285.9 million in the branded hyper-convergence category, and second to VMware with a 28.6% market share on $512 million in revenue in the hyper-converged software category.
