Do you know what it takes to deploy, maintain and secure Nutanix hyper-converged hardware and software? Take our quiz to see how deep your Nutanix knowledge and expertise runs.

Nutanix, founded in 2009, helped pioneer hyper-converged infrastructure and remains a market leader to this day.

IDC's September 2019 Worldwide Quarterly Converged Systems report placed Nutanix second in both the branded hyper-convergence category and for hyper-converged software, for example. Nutanix came up behind Dell Technologies with 14.2% share on earnings of $285.9 million in the branded hyper-convergence category, and second to VMware with a 28.6% market share on $512 million in revenue in the hyper-converged software category.

Nutanix has clearly found its way into the IT infrastructures of many enterprises. But how well do you know its products and services?

The company shipped its first Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure appliance in 2011 and has greatly expanded its range of offerings ever since. In fact, Nutanix no longer bills itself as purely a hyper-convergence company, having greatly expanded and shifted its focus over the years.

In addition, Nutanix offers a number of tools to help customers get the most out of its hyper-converged platform, including its software stack and OS. These include software and cloud services to help with management and orchestration, as well as software-defined networking, benchmarking, application monitoring and troubleshooting, real-time intelligence and analytics, virtual desktop infrastructures, and more.
