Marketing Executive, UKI

TechTarget is seeking a Marketing Executive to be an accountable leader of our UK and Ireland efforts. The right person will join TechTarget’s European team and help lead a strategic initiative for the company, with significant executive attention and support, in the fastest growing area of the business.

The Audience Development Executive will be engaged in a broad range of issues, but will be primarily responsible for planning and supporting member acquisition and retention activities to ensure that our properties grow into world class portals to support our data services tool, Priority Engine.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Help develop and execute effective online and email marketing plans to our UKI audience;
  • Develop strategic alliances and partnerships to help generate increased awareness, traffic and site membership;
  • Demonstrate innovation in acquisition and retention marketing;
  • Write, revise and proofread all English European marketing copy for email and Web site promotions;
  • Track marketing campaigns and optimize plans as needed;
  • Become a leader using social media outlets in the region and build a good social media following of UKI IT professionals; and,
  • Develop and utilize expertise of UKI IT market to target promotions effectively.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Excellent writing skills is an absolute requirement;
  • 2-3 years of online marketing experience (online and B2B publishing experience preferred);
  • Experience in crafting and executing marketing plans;
  • Demonstrate success managing a variety of online and offline direct marketing vehicles including email, banner ads, newsletter sponsorships, link outreach, social media and telemarketing;
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to analyze key metrics and interpret them into actionable data points;
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills; and,
  • University degree.
