Sales Customer Success Manager

TechTarget is seeking a Sales Customer Success Manager who will be responsible for working with our Customer’s Sales Teams to help them with their Priority Engine(TM) (Intent Data Solution) usage. The role will be to help onboard the solution to Sales Teams alongside the Account Manager and to help insure continued usage of the solution. The job will involve training, onboarding, running incentive days as well as regular check ins. Their job is to work closely with Inside Sales Managers and the reps to make sure they are getting the most out of TechTarget’s Priority Engine(TM). The Customer Success Manager will be an extension of our clients’ sales and marketing teams, with the clear understanding of the customers’ business challenges and ensuring our products, helps to achieve the customer’s objectives, goals and KPIs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Drive Sales engagement with the Priority Engine(TM) tool; focusing on adoption and renewal;
  • Onboard & train customer’s sales teams on Priority Engine(TM) and it’s functionalities, capabilities, and product details;
  • Investigate customers current lead follow up processes and work the best way to fit our solution into their workflow
  • Uncover Inside Sales’ ideal key performance indicators, metrics of success and areas of opportunity;
  • Drive continued sales usage – provide support to make sure clients see the most success out of the Priority Engine(TM) solution
  • Provide additional support such as script writing, email copy and share sales outreach cadences.
  • Present and communicate, in person, over the phone or video to end users, marketing management, sales management and executives;
  • Escalate areas of concerns, client challenges; and,
  • Provide and build best practices on integrated marketing tactics and how Priority Engine(TM) can support the tactics.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • University degree;
  • Experience onboarding clients to SaaS products or relevant Customer Success experience;
  • Experience working in Sales Roles
  • Knowledge of sales processes, workflows and best practises
  • Extremely detailed oriented and ability to multi task
  • Strong sales orientation, communication skills, client-ready presentation skills and writing skills;
  • Ability to offer perspective guidance; and in some cases in a persistent manner; and,
  • 3+ years’ experience required
