boot partition

In the Windows operating system, a boot partition is the disk partition that holds the files for the Windows operating system files.

The boot partition works with a systems partition, which contains the boot files and tells the computer where to look when starting Windows. These partitions are frequently the same, especially when the client has just one operating system.
