PeopleSoft eProcurement

PeopleSoft eProcurement is a component of Oracle’s Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) product group that enables self-service for requisition and other procurement tasks.

The procurement flow generally involves: defining a need; seeking approval for a purchase; identifying the most suitable, well-priced product; and managing the logistics of the order until fulfillment. E-procurement software enables better oversight of the task flow and greater visibility into the buying process and the logistics of the order.

PeopleSoft eProcurement provides a web-based interface that automates and streamlines the tasks involved, guiding requesters through the procurement process and helping to ensure that the correct procedures are followed, while also including mechanisms to control spend. The interface enables mobile requisitioning for employees connecting from smartphones and tablets.
