Goldi Misra is the CTO of the Indian Institute of Science and Research. He is a member of the HPC Advisory council, which is responsible for HPC outreach in India. Goldi is also a member of different committees of various organizations for evaluation of HPC tenders and related tasks.

Goldi has been actively involved with several notable projects like the PARAM Yuva Project, PetaFlop System, Intel MIC (Many Integrated Core), Center of Excellence for Linux in Pune for Open source tools & applications, Onama (an updated version of Promotional Educational Bundle Offer for Premiere Academic Institutions) and InClus (Integrated Clustering) solution from C-DAC. He has also written several technical papers based on these projects.

Under Goldi’s guidance, C-DAC HPC Resource Management Engine (CHReME) won the IDC HPC Innovation Excellence Award at Supercomputing Conference 2011 held at Seattle, WA. He is the co-author of a book on computer networks, which is been prescribed widely for engineering curricula, and the author of two books on parallel computing and shell scripting.
