ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency)

The European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) is a European Union (EU) agency dedicated to preventing and addressing network security and information security problems. ENISA also assists the European Commission in updating and developing European Community Agency legislation in the field of Network and Information Security.

ENISA acts as a “European Community Agency” and works with EU-institutions and the Member States to develop a culture of network and information security to help citizens, consumers, businesses and public-sector organizations in the European Union address and prevent security network and information security problems. ENISA’s website supports the exchange of information, best practices and advice related to the information security industry, specifically network and information security.

ENISA is overseen by a management board composed of representatives from the EU Member States, the EU Commission and other stakeholders.
