CDAC
The Centre for Development for Advanced Computing (CDAC) is the main research and development group for the Department of Information Technology (DIT) and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in India.
The CDAC was founded in 1988 to create supercomputers because the United States refused to import them to India. Since then, they have expanded into a company focused on advancing IT technology. Today, they work on strengthening Indian national technological capabilities and responding to changes in need from the global market. These initiatives include working with high-performance computing, software technology, multilingual computing, cyber security and computer education.
