UberFLEET

UberFLEET is a smartphone application that allows partners with Uber, a popular rideshare application, to oversee their fleet drivers.

UberFLEET allows individuals to operate their own business similarly to a taxi or livery company through Uber’s software. In this way, they can make sure their vehicles are being driven more often, and make more money.

The app allows the user to track the location, earnings, performance and day-to-day activity of each individual driver. The user can also see which drivers are online, contact his or her drivers and receive detailed reports of his or her own earnings.

UberFLEET partners are often individuals that own multiple high-end cars or existing car services, who want to make money with vehicles that are not being driven. They rent these vehicles to drivers, who offer rides to consumers through UberBLACK, a program that offers professional rides in high-end black cars. Uber takes a portion of the fares, the partner takes another percentage, and the driver keeps the rest.

As of this writing, the UberFLEET app is only available for Android devices.
