IQMS is a California-based software company that specializes in providing manufacturing industry-specific, ERP and manufacturing execution system (MES) software. Targeting midmarket, repetitive, batch-process and discrete manufacturing, IQMS provides an integrated ERP and MES software for the automotive, medical, aerospace and defense, assembly, food and beverage, packaging, plastics, stamping and metals and process-specific industries.

In June 2017, IQMS was included in the class of ERP vendors that "sell stand-alone MES modules that are designed with specific integration points to the broader ERP suites," according to the Gartner report on "Market Guide for Manufacturing Execution System Software." In August 2017, for the seventh consecutive year IQMS was featured in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. It qualified for the award with an organic growth rate of 69% over the past three years.

Founded by Randy and Nancy Flamm in 1989, IQMS developed its first manufacturing ERP software in 1997 and has since continued to upgrade its products and services to cover a broad line of manufacturing functions. Today, IQMS has offices across North America, Europe and Asia, and serves manufacturers in the U.S. and internationally.

IQMS EnterpriseIQ

IQMS is known for its flagship product, IQMS EnterpriseIQ, which combines the functionality of ERP and MES with the goal of giving manufacturers a comprehensive, end-to-end suite to manage and improve enterprise-wide business processes.

EnterpriseIQ offers control over the entire operation, from supply chain management to manufacturing, to customer relationship management (CRM), quality management, electronic data interchange, reporting and business intelligence, accounting and financial management, sales management, and warehouse and shipping management.

According to the company, the software also supports inventory management and purchasing, human resources, production, scheduling and shop-floor control.

EnterpriseIQ can be deployed either on premises or in the cloud via managed services or software as a service (SaaS) and supports Microsoft Windows, Linux, Unix, and .NET operating systems.

IQMS introduced one of its newest services, WebIQ, in August 2016. WebIQ runs on HTML5 and JavaScript and essentially recreates EnterpriseIQ's user interface, allowing users to access EnterpriseIQ anywhere on any device, the vendor claims.

IQMS Cloud IQ and Web BI

At the IQMS Pinnacle User Conference held in April 2017, IQMS announced enhancements to IQMS Enterprise IQ 15.3, the latest version of its manufacturing ERP system, and two new cloud offerings: IQMS Cloud IQ and IQMS Web BI.

IQMS developed these two cloud-based products in partnership with Oracle, which has provided the underlying database for the IQMS ERP system for over two decades.

IQMS Cloud IQ is the cloud version of EnterpriseIQ. It runs on the Oracle cloud platform and is available either as hosted licensed software or in a SaaS subscription.

IQMS Web BI provides manufacturers with the cloud-based business intelligence and visualization functionality needed to help gain clearer insights into their operations and financial data. The IQMS Web BI cloud service is available to all IQMS users, both in IQMS software deployed on-premises and in the Oracle cloud hosted by IQMS.

IQMS Enterprise Support

In August 2017, IQMS announced the rollout of IQMS Enterprise Support, a support offering for all of its manufacturing customers. IQMS Enterprise Support provides personalized support and training services aimed at minimizing the time and effort to resolve software issues, and help business efficiently execute its day-to-day operations.
