Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (Hitachi UCP)
Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP) is the company's product for converged infrastructure (CI), combining resources server, storage, networking, virtualization and software management.
UCP provides a reliable, flexible, high-performance single solution for Vmware vSphere environments. The product comes in two models, using prevalidated, configurable servers and software management. UCP Pro and UCP Select combine Hitachi's various products.
UCP Pro offers: Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform, Brocade Fibre Channel and Ethernet fabric switches, Hitachi Compute Blade 500 server, VMware vSphere and UCP Director.
UCP Select offers: Hitachi storage and servers and Brocade Fibre Channel, Ethernet fabric switches, or Hitachi storage and Cisco UCS servers and networking but without UCP Director and is validated with Vmware vSphere. Additional solutions include: Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft Exchange 2010, Microsoft Private Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2012, Oracle Database, SAP HANA, VMware View.
